FAQ
Questions about fast business funding
Straight answers on timing, security, paperwork and how your enquiry is handled.
Speed and timing
Can my business really be funded within 24 hours?
It's possible, not guaranteed. $20k to $250k possible same day (property-secured); up to $5m possible within 24–48 hours; and same-day funding possible for smaller unsecured amounts. Enquiry time, security, paperwork and the business-day calendar decide where your window lands.
When does the 24-hour clock start?
At your enquiry, not at approval. The hours before the first call can be used to gather paperwork, which is why an evening enquiry followed by a prepared morning often beats a mid-morning enquiry with nothing ready.
Why do some loans settle the next morning even when everything's approved?
Property settlements happen on business days through the Reserve Bank's settlement system and need the lender's team to book and complete them. A file ready late in the afternoon usually settles the following business morning.
Can a loan settle on a weekend or public holiday?
Property settlements generally can't. The settlement system is closed on weekends and on key public holidays observed in NSW and Victoria. Some fast payments move every day, but that depends on the lender.
Does my state change the timeline?
Yes. Western Australia is two to three hours behind Sydney, the Northern Territory up to 90 minutes, South Australia 30 minutes, and Queensland an hour behind during eastern daylight saving. Settlement keeps Sydney time.
Security and amounts
How much can I borrow?
Property-secured business loans from $20k to $5m — first mortgages, second mortgages and caveat loans over residential or commercial property. Unsecured, cash-flow and line-of-credit options for trading businesses, typically $5k to $500k, sized on turnover and bank statements.
Do I need property to get fast funding?
No. Unsecured options suit trading businesses with steady bank statements, and smaller amounts can be funded the same day. Property allows larger amounts and can be fast too, particularly caveat loans.
What's the fastest property-secured option?
Usually a caveat loan, because the existing mortgage stays in place and there's no payout figure to wait for. Second mortgages are similar; refinancing a first mortgage adds the most steps.
Can I use property that's in my spouse's or a trust's name?
Often, yes, but every registered owner must take part and sign. Trusts need their deed reviewed. Mention every owner on the first call so documents are drafted correctly.
Do you publish interest rates?
No. Every loan is priced on the business's individual circumstances. We'll explain the total cost of your option in dollars once we understand your situation.
Credit, tax and paperwork
Is there a credit check when I enquire?
No. Enquiring doesn't touch your credit file. A credit check is only discussed after you've seen your options and decided to go ahead.
Can I get a fast loan with bad credit or ATO debt?
Past credit issues and ATO debt considered case by case. Disclosing them on the first call keeps the timeline intact; surprises found later are what cause delays.
What documents will I need?
Usually six months of business bank statements, photo ID for every director and guarantor, your ABN or ACN, your ATO position, and for property loans a rates notice and any existing loan statement. The Paperwork Stopwatch checks your list.
Can loan documents be signed electronically?
Often, yes. Some documents or parties may still need witnessing or original signatures. The lender will tell you which, and it's worth confirming every signatory is reachable on the day.
How we work
Will my details be sent to lots of lenders?
No. There's no spray-and-pray. Your enquiry stays with one team who work your file directly, so you won't be flooded with calls.
Who will contact me?
A lending specialist who has read your enquiry. They'll confirm the details, explain what's realistic and tell you what to send.
Why does the form ask about property and existing loans?
Because those answers choose which stages apply. Accurate details mean the first call starts on the right option rather than correcting the wrong one.
What can the loan be used for?
Business purposes only. Common uses include stock, supplier payments, tax bills, equipment, wages, bridging a settlement and working capital.
Still have a question?
The quickest way to a specific answer is a conversation about your specific situation. Enquiring takes about a minute, there's no credit check to ask, and a real person calls you. Start your enquiry, or run the 24-Hour Funding Clock first.
